Su: Can you tell me how many ways a deb. planet gets neechabhanga?
POINT 1:
Which are the neechabhanga planets:a) planet which lords the exaltation rasi of that graha
ex. for Sun it would be Mars (Aries is exaltation sign)
b) planet which lords the debilitation rasi of that graha
ex. for Sun it would be Venus (Libra is debilitation sign)
c) planet which gets exalted in sign of debilitation
ex. Sani has exaltaion in Libra which is sign of debilitation of Surya.
Conclusion: Mars, Venus, Sani are the neechabhanga grahas for Surya.
POINT 2:
Three ways of neechabhanga:
i) by grace of God - uccha avastha in Dharma-amsa. After initial setbacks native gets phala.
ii) by society or mantra - when neechabhanga planets are in kendra to Moon.
iii) by own skills/supports - when neechabhanga planets are in kendra to Lagna.
So when:
i) Surya is in Mesha-amsa (Purna Neechabhanga 100%)
or
ii) When Mars, Venus or Sani are in Kendra to Moon or Lagna (75% Neechabhanga)
Surya achieve Neechabhanga state

Dear Rafalji,
Continuing with this thread, how would moon in scorpio (its debilitation sign) get neech bhang.
I have moon with mars in 11H in D 10. Would Mars (in its own sign) provide neech bhang..???
With warm regards
Bobby

Dear Bobby, Namaskar
1. Planets debilitated in D10 are source of wealth.
2. Mangal or Shukra should be in kendra to Ch or Lg to give neechabhanga to Chandra.
3. Mangal in 11H in D10 is very good and gives effects of Jupiter on Lagna - pioneer (digbala) in field of knowledge, strong intelligence in work.

Dear Rafalji
1. For Virgo lagna, Jupiter is in Lagna and Mercury is in 7th house of pisces. Moon in the 6th house of Saturn( aquarius)
Question: Would Mercury debilitation be cancelled or NeechBhang yoga occur because of the Parivartan yoga between Jupiter and Mercury.
2. Jupiter would be the lord of the debiliated sign of Mercury which is placed in the lagna , would this also cause Neechbhang?
3. How many different ways would Mercury’s neechbhang will be caused and how would the native succeed in life with this kind of combination. Which of the three ways of neechabhanga will be caused. i.e.
i) by grace of God - uccha avastha in Dharma-amsa. After initial setbacks native gets phala.
ii) by society or mantra - when neechabhanga planets are in kendra to Moon.
iii) by own skills/supports - when neechabhanga planets are in kendra to Lagna.

Dear Rafalji,
My Sun is debilitated in Libra with Lagna. Mar in 4th exalted in CAP and SAR in Aries of 7th house causes the Neecha bhanga.
However when does the activation starts and what are the likely effect of this? especially what type of dasa can be considered with?

Dear Rinku, Kumar Namaskar
1. Parivartana will help but alone cant guarantee neechabhanga. Here the situation is different: still Jupiter and Budha are in kendra to Lagna giving 50% of Neechabhanga, Venus can add additional 25% if in kendra to Ch or Lg.
2. As above.
3. Type iii. This will show that first there will be trouble, related to people/spouse/travels, then native will be build up with wisdom, fortune and principles. Without parivartana native would be poor and without any guidance/inspiration whole life.
Kumar
Shani in Aries will not help due to weak deeptadi-avastha, but surely it will give rajayoga, but juniors/subordinates will suffer. Neechabhanga starts when bhanga-grahas are activated due to naisargika years (like Mangal gives 27/28 yr) or Dasa in Vimshottari.
You can see my chart:
http://www.rohinaa.com/images/stories/rg.jpg
Sun is debilitated in fifth bhava. It has full neechabhanga as Mangal is in kendra to Lagna, while Shukra and Shani are in kendra to Chandra. This will be activated in my 25/26 yrs of age. In that time I started teaching Jyotish (Su-karaka for Jyotish, fifth bhava - high vidya).

Dear Visti-ji, Namaskar.
What happens when a neecha planet is also retrogade?
I have Saturn(R) neecha in the 11th bhava with only Mars in the 4th from lagna and together with chandra. How will this affect my life…especially in regard to friends and older siblings? I have 6 older siblings with whom i am eager to maintain good relationships with.
Best Regards,
Priya

Dear Rafalji,
Namaste,
My Sun is debilitated in Libra with Lagna ie in the first bhava,Mar exalted in 4th being kendra what does this imply? like 5th in yours is High Vidya. Also does Shashti hayani dasa cound as Shani maha dasa just started there for me. How to realise that which is more appropriate?
Pardon me for any ignorance as i am just trying to understand.

Dear Priya, Kumar, Namaskar
Priya
Vakri grahas in eleventh bhava are bad as it shows that results of work are delayed, this can make one dismotivated. This ill afflict one’s rise due to being in 7 from AL. Relation with siblings You should study in D3.
Kumar
It gives Ruchaka Yoga which can give knowledge of mantra, tantra, beside giving valour, gallantry. This can also give lands and foreign stay.

Dear Jim,
Guru, Surya, Ketu in kona to Navamsa Lagna and Karakaamsa. Karakaamsa in Guru-mangala yoga aspected by Tapaswi yoga. AK aspecting eleventh bhava in Rasi.
Rasi: 8L exalted in fifth with fifth and ninth lord. Ju+Ve in fifth, Me in forth, Me exalted as Lagnesh and Arudha Padha Lord in Arudhapada aspected by the nodes. Sa in eleventh in D9; few yogas in D10, D27 and D60 add to this picture..
But all this would be nothing without mercy of my Guru and Paramapara.

Dear Guruji,
Namaskar,
I was wondering Sankha yoga or Sankhya yoga are they both same, what planetary combination causes this yoga,I just read from Sanjay jis website,
here is link–>http://srath.com/index.php?blog=3
“This is Sankha Yoga showing that he will be the first of something, like first Prime Minister or First President or the creator or innovator of something new. This is a very powerful yoga as it give the power to bring about radical changes and start something.”
I would like to learn this yoga,Your reply is going to unlock rusted iron doors. This Surya Dasa is crap,it is likely to reward me in Venus antara as that time Anubhava will be 3rd from Capricorn which is A5!!!
Yours astrologically,
Jim

Dear Jim,
Sankhya comes from Moon in kona to Navamsa Lagna. Sankha yoga gives pioneer.

Dear Guru ji,
I am Leo Lagna, Leo Raasi
Mars, Venus, Moon - Leo
Sun, Mercury, Sani - Libra
Gu, Ketu - Scorpio
Rahu - Taurus.
Will I get 100% Neechbhang? From your calculation explained in the beginning I can make out 75% will be Bhang. But is there any possibility of 100% Bhang for Sun?
May 20th, 2008 at 2:10 am
Dear Santosh,
100% is for exaltation in Navamsa - only God (d9) can grant it, otherwise in your case its 50% without mantras.

Dear Rafalji, Namaste.
Can you pls tell me a little more about dwi-guru yoga. How does it usually manifest in one’s life.
I am not sure if I have dwi-guru yoga although it looks like from your articles - Dec 31st 1977 @ 16.07 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (7.30+GMT).
Jupiter in this case is lord of the 8th&12th sitting in the 2nd RX - how does this affect. It is aspecting the combust Venus in Sag
Also if you notice in my Rasi-D9-D10 I have almost everything retrograde except Venus. How will this many many retrogression affect a person.
Thank you and god bless.
