Not in the same way. Generally MKS from Lagna afflicts terribly the houses lorded by that planet. While for Arudhas I was taught that when the arudha starts working then the planet becomes afflicted. So in this case it can mean that when one rises in financial and careerwise status then the planet can meet problems.

What are the effects of a planet if it falls in MKS from Narayana dasa sign.
* will it spoil lordship as per Lagna or as per dasa sign
* for eg for Libra asc venus in capri becomes MKS in the Leo dasa, so will it harm lagna and 8th lord significance (as per lagna ) or 3rd house and 10th house significations (if we treat Leo as lagna because of Dasa rasi)
* In case of remedy will only Mantra will do some effect ( if effect of gem is not good from other point of views)

1. It will spoil the bhava lorded by this graha, so the result from Dasa Rasi will show circumstances while from Lagna it will show Yoga (what will be afflicted). Instead I was taught that when Dasa Rasi comes to some graha it will spoil house in MKS from that graha/dasarasi. So if Moon is in Dasa Rasi it will spoil bhava eight from it. This is all in my article in “Articles” section.
2. Houses from Dasa Rasi shows circumstances, from Lagna it shows what is happening (which elements are afflicted/benefited).
3. There are many kinds of Upayas ie. fasting, offering, helping others etc. All depends on nature of problem.

For Ishta devata and Dharma Devata we worship Vishnu, for Palana Devata we also can, but here we can also worship Mahavidya. So for Jupiter it will be Trivikrama mantra.

Co-relation relates to similar or common function. Here it is different. Kula Devata ensures family auspiciouosness while Palana Devi ensures You can maintain your body, therefore its more personal and individual for each person in family. If whole family digest some big issue then its necessary to propitiate Kula Devata (second bhava in D20). Grama Devata sits in forth bhava. Hope its more clear.

Ghataka refers to suffering. The one with Ghata-Tithi gives emotional pain (for physical pain we see Lagna-Ghatak) to the partner, sometimes very unconciously.
Health problems to spouse we see from 2,7 and 3,8 from Upapada Lagna in Rasi.
The remedy is worshipping Bagalamukhi (offering with left hand yellow flower in Tuesday).

Yes, we can advise Gemstone of Lagnesh always, but like You correctly recognized position from AL is important to check, especially with Gems like Neelam.
Now:
Shani in ninth house brings protection from people in general, but if its connected to Saapa, then this can turn out into problem, so whole Yoga is necessary to see.
Shani in fifth from Lagna gives problems to our plans, rajayoga (when Lagnesh then it can act like Surya so its not so bad) and future and in that situation we advise worship of Sri Narayana to avert those problems.

Yes, this Sa with Ch in Maranakaraka sthana ends the Grahamalika Yoga which makes the chart a bit inauspicious. Eight lord in eight bhava will give spirituality (harsha yoga) and Moon will guide one into yoga/kundalini practice, but Shani being enemy of Brhaspati and Surya will hit the inteligence and health of the person. Worst curse is of Guru in fifth bhava (with Ishta Devata graha) and this should be remedied by Ganapati worship. Buddha Maranakarakashtana is not so bad as Venus is in kona to Lagna but Your mantra for Varuna should be recited definitely. Lagna and Arudhapada are in bandhana yoga (also konas to AK have malefics) which will make one stucked, Buddha is in Kendra so Vishnu mantra is very good idea. 5H, Jupiter and PK in 12 from Surya-AK also doesnt say well about progeny.

Is Namo Naraayanaya advisable? as the prefix Om gives an.Can you guide me on this? How should the mantra be reckoned? with the MKS of budha in 7th should the energies be transferred to the seventh house? #1 It can be Om Ganeshaya Namah (from VRA) or any other suitable Ganesha mantra like Om Gam Ganapataye Namah. For children in Mercury Naisargika Dasa mantra - namo ganapate tubhyam jyesthajyesthaya te namah - is very auspicious as it has 6 words and 16 syllabeles (removing shadripus/tamas and giving energy to forth bhava - studies/learning). This will also help for Chaturthi-tithi which is lorded by Ganapati.
#2 Vishnu Mantra: Om Vishnave Namah or mantra for Sri Rama (Buddha is in first drekkana).
#3 Im very careful with changing original mantras, so if we are very concerned about mantra kriya and mantra bhoga we should research sastras and find those mantras instead of modyfing it.
#4 If Buddha is in MKS then Ravi should be worshipped with Ghrini beeja - Om Hram Ghrini Ravaye Namah. Still its not big problem in this chart.
#5 Yes, curse is in Vrscika-rasi and Ketu is wellplaced so Ganesha sadhana will take care of it. So while working with curses, You should first see (1) lord, then (2) bhava karaka and remedy should be based on that division.
#6 Mantra devata is object of mantra, His placement in chart is seen by (1) counting number from mantra kriya to mantra bhoga and (2) the same number from mantra bhoga. So we say its like arudha-counting. Rsi is head, chanda is mouth, Devata is heart, Beeja is linga, Shakti is feet and the fifth one is Kilaka.

Jiva means soul and mukti is liberation, so 12H from Karakamsa is Jeevanmuktaamsa. So if You want to go in that direction definitely You should pray to THIS Deity. In Your case it is Sri Lakshmi/Rishikesha.
Rebirth is seen from 7H from Karakamsa. Place of rebirth is seen in 7H in D1 ie. Mars show island.

If that gem is auspicious, then before wearing it, it should be put in the milk for night, then in the morning it should be put on the left hand, and this mantra should be recited:
Shanno devirabhistaya aapo bhavantu pitaye samyora bhisravantu nah
Then put it on right hand (if Shani blesses with subhayoga).

Janma Nakshatra is very sensitive point, ghata nakshatra should be avoided especially for marriage/relationship issues. Its best to start wearing it in daytime as we want blessings of Surya. Alternatively Shani can be in kona, but eight bhava should be empty.

Lagnesh in badhaksthana shows that You can consider going abroad. As eight lord & malefic is in forth bhava home atmosphere can be little disturbing to You - You will feel stucked due to bandhana yoga. Many planets in eight bhava shows Pravraja and Moha - problem with judging facts reasonably. This however gives also occult knowledge and interest which arised from 2nd part of this year. You are also very charitable person, sometimes very moody and unsatisfied with work and relationship due to high Rajas and proness to mistake (ke with ul). Going to remedies: Coral (for Rahu), Kali Mantra (for Shani), Varuna mantra (for Moon), Ganesha Mantra (for Saaap).

1. Those benefics with Lagnesh which are aspecting Ra & Ke have the power for release of bandhana. So it will be through own effort related to spirituality. Otherwise mantra ‘Hare Rama Krishna’ is remedy for Bandhana.
2. I made a mistake. It is Ruby for Rahu in tenth, not Coral.
3. ‘Om Dakshinakalike Namah’ (3 or at least 1 mala). Shaapa means curse, and in Your chart it is Brahmana-Shaapa which is curse of Guru/Brahmin.
4. Problem with money will disappear when the curse will be corrected, as Shani (engaged in curse) is in second from Lagna and lording 2 from AL. As Venus is 11L from AL in 12H from AL Moola dasa shows some investments which deplets bank account. Venus is also 2L in eight bhava giving monetary issues.
Just do the remedies.

1.Yes, Ruby is for Surya, therefore we use it for Rahu in tenth, as Rahu is in third from Surya in Varachakra scheme. Gomedh is a risk as its Badhakesh.
2. Mars dosha is corrected by donating Hanuman picture, but its not a big issue in this chart.
3. Buddha in eight is good per Saravali as its Asuragraha, all doshas connected to Buddha are automatically removed by worshiping Sri Ganesha.

1. Per Sanjayji’s teaching in Serbija, Surya Vesa should correspond to Lagnesh in chart. In my case its Buddha, therefore Aditya.
2. Vaisesikamsa relates to level of influence, wealth, jnana etc. Thats the paramater which differentiate king from normal person. But here there is alot of place for research still.
3. Node should have some connection to Lagna. You can refer to Vistiji’s and Sanjayji’s charts as They were born like that. Both of them have Node in Navamsa Lg.

Yes as per Sanjayjee if nodes are in 1/7 in navamsa then the birth take place by kind of using forceps. My navamsa also has nodes in 1/7 and my birth was also like the same.
But can you please write how Mars is connected to cesarian births.

Can any mithuna lagna person do the Hraum Namaha aditya mantra,even if Surya is 64th Navamsa lord?
My birth was a forceps birth. But D9 lagna is Rishaba with Guru and Sukra in lagna. Ketu is yuti Budha in 3rd, has Rasi dristi on lagna, would that fit? Shifting D9 lagna to Mesha is an option which would explain many things but how would that relate to a forceps birth? Bringing the D9 lagna forward to Karka would mean a time of 14.59 which is way off as the time could be off by a few minutes + or -. How else can I rectify it? what other vargas do one need pay attention to fine tune/rectify the time?

2. If it was foreceps then nodes influence is a must. With Taurus Lagna Venus in first also shows premature birth, while Nodes aspect can show foreceps.

Relation between Surya and AK shows level of spirituality. If Surya has argala on Atmakaraka then soul can direct itself into spiritual way. How this way will be will depend on forth from Karakamsa. Who will help in this way is seen from kona to Navamsa and Vimsamsa Lagna. What are the obstacles in the way are seen from Shani Ashtakavarga in D20.
External acceptance of spirituality depends on Lagnesh/Surya relation.

1-You advised me prevously(1.Yes, Ruby is for Surya, therefore we use it for Rahu in tenth, as Rahu is in third from Surya in Varachakra scheme. Gomedh is a risk as its Badhakesh.) 1. Surya is in eight bhava so normally its indicate index finger. Index finger however has ego problem, so Ruby, Diamond and Pookhraj we wear on ring finger (refer to Vedic Remedies in Astrology).
2. There are few Varuna Mantras like : om vam vam vam sah varunaya namah. BUT here we pay attention to flow of energy/resource which MKS takes away. So the mantra for You would be: Om Hram Ghrini Varunaya Namah (from 3 increasing to 5 malas daily).
3. Trayambaka mantra for Shukra-saapa.
4. Reg. Dakshina-Kali Mantra, 3 or 5 malas, till resolution of problems.
5. Buddha-Shukra from Moola dasa point of view, these are engaged in Saapa, so Trayambaaka mantra.

I was born on the 23rd of November 1970 at 2130 (+7.30 GMT). I have just ended a very bad period of Rahu Dasha. Will Jupiter(Badhakesh) dasha be any better….will it behave as a Venus Dasha due to conjunction with Venus (and also parivarthana between Jup in Taurus and Ven in Pieces in D9)? Please advice on the best colours that i should utilize.
I am looking at my 7th house and its dharma and future. The 9th from Saggi has Ketu. The 5th from Saggi has a debilitated and retrogade Saturn. The lord of the 7th Jup(AmK) is in Libra with a retrogade Venus(PuK). Atmakaraka Mars and Darakaraka Moon are in Virgo.

You didnt provide place of birth, but I assume Your Lagna is Mithuna.
1. Yes, Guru dasa will be a lot better, due to rajayoga and influencing Arudhapada. It will give influence, rise, direct events related to work. It will also favour with travels. This yoga in fifth will block Rahu in ninth which is very positive.
2. Navamsa Parivartana is especially vital for Antardasa level.
3. AK in Virgo is with Surya which shows proneness to conflicts, forcing personality and events related to arguments comming from pastlife. It also shows tension related to relatives and some losses related to house/place of stay.
4. Parivartana from Buddha to Mangal shows transformation of Your idaeals and character. So buddha dasas will cause conflicts, while that of mangal will show transformation for stability but with stress.
5. Guru is cursed so if You are talking about correcting karma/remedies/Upayas then Vishnu Gayatri is best for this chart.

Yes, we have also these kind of universal remedies.
Yellow Saphire and black colours are auspicious, however black is not good for spiritual practices. Avoid yellowish white and red. You should also have very good relation with labour workers. Praying to female form like Maria is very auspicious. East and North directions are very good. For health saltish food gives ojas responsible for immunity, longevity and strength. To find soulmate (if you hadnt anyone before) its good to have work, as this is the energy which should be activated, Jupiter in Libra with Venus shows some party or gathering as place of meeting. You should have children to rise in life.
Lagnesh with third lord in sixth gives gallantry and inteligence, but too much agni will cause some battles with family and relatives.
Guru Shukra Yoga gives consulting, advising, teaching which will increase until 2010. This can be connected to sales/foregin connections.

I have a professional accountancy qualification but was not able to start a career because as i was completing my studies my mum was bed ridden with rheumatoid arthritis for more than 10 years before she passed away on 14/01/03. Now i am also looking after my 81 year old dad. I am the youngest in my family.(I’m sure you are able to decipher all this from my chart….) I have lost all confidence to work in an office environment…..so i will try to teach or go into sales as per your advice. Guru-ji namaskar, I have another question on MKS. Is it also applicable in divisional charts. I have a retrogade Venus in the 6th from Virgo lagna in my Somanath Drekkana chart. What is the significance of this? ( venus is exhalted in the 12th in d9 and in the 4th in d10). In D1 Venus is in the 5th from Gemini lagna. I have a diamond ring….is it okay for me to wear it due to above placements. Varnada lagna is Taurus.

Yes, we use Maranakarakasthana in Varga, but it is most useful by taking the root point as Karyabhava. For example Shukra will be bad in Vyayabhava (12H) in Navamsa as its sixth (MKS) from Karyabhava (seventh). Somanath Drekkana shows how You use or keep Your ojas, so Shukra in sixth can cause some disharmony in private life. Diamond is good for Mithuna Lagna, especially if Brghu is placed in 1,2,4,8,10 from Arudhapada, otherwise it can be neutral or bad.

There is bhava karaka and karya bhava.
Bhava karaka is what You mentioned: Mars is bhava karaka for third, Moon for forth, Jupiter for fifth, Shani for sixth (some say Mangal) etc.
Karya bhava is controling house for specific Varga. For D4 it is forth, for D9 seventh or ninth, for D10 its tenth, for D16 and D24 its forth etc.

1. Its like Vasistha teaching Rama war (for Ju in third), so through own effort (d1) one can escape MKS situation.
2. Depends on many factors. Usually third and fifth planet in Vara Chakra scheme should be well placed.
3. If planet is in MKS in D3(jn) then situation is worst as karmaphala is affected by it, or rather You dont escape this while initating activities. The same is with Bhava Chakra but relates to one’s perception.
For day birth, day planets will not suffer so much in Marana Karaka Sthana.

1st house - Taurus
2nd house - Gemini - Moon
3rd house - Cancer - Jupiter
4th house - Leo - Saturn
5th house - Virgo - Rahu

7th house - Scorpio - Mars, Sun, Mercury
11th house - Pisces - Ketu
There are 4 planets in MKS from above.
1) Ju in 3rd - The karaka for 3rd which is Mars is with Surya, therefore in trine from Surya. Therefore the MKS is rescued by Mars.
2) Ve in 6th - The karaka for 6th is Saturn who is in a kendra from Sun and Lagna, therefore this avenue is ruled out. Next comes 5th planet in varachakra which is Shukra, Shani, Surya, Chandra, Mangal. Again Mars is conjunct Sun so Mars can cure this situation as well.
3) Ma in 7th - The karaka for 7th is Venus, who is in 12th from Sun and 6th from Lagna, therfore this avenue is ruled out. 5th from Mars in varachakra scheme is Shani who is in 4th from Lagna and Surya, so there is no cure for this situation. 3rd from Mars in varachakra scheme is Guru who is in 9th from Surya. THerefore Guru can rescue this situation. Isnt this so interlinked ? Mars resuces Jupiter and then Jupiter rescues Mars ?
4) Me in 7th - Karaka wise the analysis above holds good. 5th from Me in Varachakra scheme is Surya himself. Therefore Surya himself will rescue this situation.
From the above it looks propitation to Jupiter, Mars, Sun will help. Is my thinking on the right lines ?

1) Brhaspati in Parakrama Bhava - Ke is in Meena, so Lobhabhava will be afflicted, it will be hard to predict what will happen as Ketu sits there. Jupiter is stronger so native will be peaceful altough can be tempted to use bad ways/inspired by bad friends. This will give bhagya as this Guru aspects ninth bhava. And finally good support from friends (2H/5H from AL). Shani is third in Varachakra, being badhakesh in forth can give hounted houses or bad vastu beside sorrowful childhood. So Shani will not help, but Guru is strong so this will not be problem.
2) Brghu in Shatru Bhava - again own house, but Yellow Saphire is good option, otherwise one will be biased about one’s health, can be very lazy about it, especially as its twelfth from Surya. Shukra is Vakri which gives strong character, but few battles in life. Rahu is third in varachakra and is strong in Kona (mrdanga) can give foreigner with Virgo Lagna which will help native.
3) Mangal in seventh - this is bad as Buddha is cursed there. Surya in seventh often give bad character, Mangal give overprotective attitude related to spouse, Buddha is giving conflicts. Jupiter aspect denies short life of spouse-yoga, and loose morals-yoga. Buddha and Mangal forms Jnana Yoga and in Vrscika this gives occult knowledge and can give also interest in knowledge about relationship/love/sex. Jupiter helps (3).

My Rasi is as follows: Lagna, Venus and Maandi in Kanya; Sun, Mercury and Rahu in Thula; Jupiter and Moon in Meena; Ketu in Mesha; Mars in Mithuna; and Saturn in Kataka. At present I am running Mercury Dasa and just started on my Rahu Bhookti.
My navamsa is as follows: Lagna and Moon in Kataka; Saturn in Kanya; Mars and Ketu in Dhanur; Jupiter in Makara; Mercury and Maandi in Meena; Venus in Mesha; and Sun and Rahu in Mithuna.
The Atmakaraka is Sun (Karakamsa is Mithuna); Amatyakaraka is Jupiter; and Bhatrikaraka is Mercury.
In my Vimsamsa chart, Lagna, Jupiter, Sun, Saturn, Rahu and Ketu in Thula; Maandi in Dhanur; Mars in Makara; Venus in Meena; Mercury in Mesha; and Moon in Simha.
If I understand correctly from all available readings, my ISTADEVATA would be Mahalakshmi and Parasurama. However as Venus is debiliated in Rasi, I need to worship Yakshini devatas also. Is this true?
Second, Palanadevata (sixth house from Jupiter) would be Mercury who owns Mithuna, which also happens to be Karakamsa. Should I worship Mahavishnu’s avatar of Kalki? I do not subscribe Buddha as the Lord’s avatar as som literature indicate. Or since Sun and Rahu is placed in Mithuna and with the former having higher latitude, would it indicate I pray to Lord Rama and Siva?
And as Dharmadevata, since Saturn is 9th Lord, I would have to worship Lord Kurma? Os Lord Shastha?
Whom should I pray to as a Gurudevata (as seen from Bhatrikaraka)? Would it be Meena where Mercury is placed? In such a case, would it be Lord Rama or Lord Krishna?
I also understand that if Sun and Rahu are placed in Karakamsa, the concerned person will die of snake bites. Is this true? Mars and Ketu are influencing it strongly.
More importantly, with Sun and Rahu in Karakamsa (a trine position) and 5th house trine Lord Saturn with his 10th house aspect as well as Mars and Ketu with seventh house aspects (with all malefic planets and no aspects from benefic planets) enable the concerned person to engage in mantra/tantra/yantra sadhanas and be successful in it? I am already initiated into a number of mantras by learned gurus. Perhaps, my Vimsamsa chart could confirm this.
I feel if you could advise me on the appropriate deities to worship (through mantra or sadhanas), it will be beneficial for my spiritual and life pursuits.

Planet in Marana karaka sthana is not enough to destroy bhava, malefics must also aspect. Fifht bhava is lorded by maranakaraka sthana and is aspected by two malefics namely Rahu and Shani, so that can cause some tension related to lovelife (lord in seventh and Shukra is in twelfth from that). Still worst dosha is curse of Mangal and the mantra of Bhimashankar Jyotirlinga should be recited. Om Namah Shivaya Namah Bhimashankaraya 5 malas daily, starting from Saturday with good muhurta (no planets in 5/8; Surya in kendra/kona). From 2006 Vrscika dasa started so thats the remedy You need the most!

1.Benefics debilitated in Kendra shows stress, this is in fifth from AK which cause depression and being stucked in life. Furthermore Shukra is in papakartari and 4L in D3.
Shukra indicates Ishtadeva so You should start reciting this mantra: Om Namo Bhagavate Hrsikeshaya at least 5 malas daily.
2. Your Chandra is in sixth bhava, so Utpanna Dasa should be used. Its Rahu-Rahu period, and being AK shows some enmity and problem with sleep (12H), this also considerably damage finances being in eight from AL. Yes, depends what is more important. Surya being in twelfth from Arudhapada can cause expenses when activated, but still it will cure the bad effects of Rahu in tenth. Infact this Ganesha sadhana is so crucial, this will help You in all areas of life including marriage (as 7L, Shukra and Upapada lord are involved in curse).
For Past karma causes and effects study Shastyamsa Chart.

Do you think that the Mangal’s curse also affects my career (it has drishti on 10th house). I am currently pursuing phd, and facing a lot of problems with my advisor. No matter how much I work, it doesn’t seem to be enough. I am getting very demotivated by this. This is not how I am used to working at all. I feel very depressed and don’t know when I will be able to complete phd. This has been the state of affairs for the past 2 yrs now.

1. If they can do this daily near Your ear, its quite lucky situation as they will maintain proper maturity and purity. Otherwise You should become the sadhaka of Ganesha and when proper bhava is activated then the mercy will come and Your relation with Ganeshji will change Your fate. Remedies are not so cheap, it demands a lot of sacrifice, otherwise all suffering is punishment for our bad intentions and acts in previous life(s).
2. For what? Spiritually..Shiva.
3. Depends how many worda are in mantra. 4 words..4 malas etc. You can double it, if the problem is serious.
4. For Mahavidya Krishna Paksha. For Ganesha mantra, start on Tuesday or Chaturthi.

Arudha Lagna in Your chart is posited in Dhanus Rasi (gold).
Among planets, Chandra is debilitated in D1; it gets neechabhanga from Shukra and Mangal. BUT because this kind of neechabhanga is from Chandra You can cure it only by mantra/association. From 99 to 2008 (nov) Chandra was rescued due to Narayana Dasa rasi being in kendra to these two neechabhanga planets, but after this period You will be advised to do some remedy for Moon. Otherwise forth house signification will suffer. All karaka of forth bhava are in fifth from forth (where Ketu sits) so due to some mistakes, the progress (fifth) of home, family, hapiness, education, vehicles, comforts, relatives will be stopped/obstructed. This will be due to some losses (especially financial) due to taxes and other goverment/administrative formalities. Trayambaka Jyotirlinga is the remedy;

I have few questions regarding the below couples natal chart
Husband Birth date March 27, 1978
Baroda, Gujarat
Latitude 22 deg 19 min N
Longitude 73 deg 14 min East
Wife Birth Date April 4, 1979
Eluru, Andhra Pradesh
16 deg 43 Min N
81 deg 09 Min E
1. In husband natal chart Rahu is amatyakarka, which is a Kendra, and is in ninth house and Budha and Mangal are MKS. Shukra is in Arudha Lagna . In navamsa also Budha , Mangal are in MKS and Shukra is in Lagna. Shukra is Atmkaraka. How is the effect of MKS in this chart. He has Atmakarka and Amatyakarka in 3rd and 9th house resp.
2. Wife has sani and rahu in 8th house of her lagna chart. For the husband’s Sani and rahu are in second house along with Buddha (the lord of fourth house in navamsa). Does this have malefic effects?
