b) Afflicted bhava yogas (Phaldeepika 6.57)
When lord of bhavas from Lagna onwards are in dusthana or aspected by malefics these yogas are formed:
1 - Ava [unknown, shortlife, humilitated, unsteady position] (This is seed for Kalpadruma Yoga - Navamsa should be checked)
2 - Nisswa [harsh speech, bad company (kutumba), ill eyes (check also 10H), wealth taken by enemies (especially when connected to sixth)
3 - Mriti Yoga [annihilated by enemies, devoid of brothers (check 3/11 from AL - Parasara/Jaimini), no strength, indulging in unseemly actions]
4 - Kuhu Yoga [no mother (check 4H from Moon for presence of mother), bereft of:conveyances (d16), friends (a11), hapiness, relations, place of living (d4) -Ke for apartments, Ma for lands]
5 - Pamara Yoga - indiscriminative, cheat, childless [confirm with d7 and a3/a9, nirvirya/napumsaka yoga], no faith (d20)]
6 - Harsha Yoga (dushtana lords in dusthanas are subha yogas)
7 - Dushkriti - deprived of wife, other person wives [check for bahu-stree yoga], wander unnoticed, veneral diseases (when connected to afflicted sixth lord or eight lord connected with trika lords]
8 - Sarala [good yoga]
9 - Nirbhagya - loss paternal property [in Vedic Astrology ninth bhava represents father], irreligious (Ra when AK,AmK or BK in ninth gives spiritual oriented person], poor (ninth lord connected to AK gives dhana yoga, eight lord - daridra yoga]
10 - fruitless person (10H in Rasi shows how we work, lord shows outcome from that - skillset; profession is seen in d9 and d10; d9 shows most lucrative ones, whilst d10 shows all available jobs/buisness). Jataka Parijata also indicates yajnas for tenth house. It is also called Indra bhava where the senses work very intense therefore seventh lord in tenth rings bell for promiscous character]
11 - Daridra [there are many Daridra yogas, including Kemadruma (L/AL/NL/KK) and yoga between dusthana and maraka]
12 - Vimala - frugal in expenses (good yoga)
c) Kalika Yoga - If the Moon+Shani yoga exists in 4,10,11 (Moon and Shani rasis in Naisargika chakra order) then person gets rajayoga or wealth. (Jataka Parijata 7.53)

This is chart of Sri Jagannath Center Guru which is highly appreciated in Jyotish community due to articles, book, write-ups, lectures and wide support for the enthusiasts of Jyotish. We observe Moon and Shani in eleventh bhava. There is Charakaraka replacement (BK and AmK are in same degrees) which shows very close relation with Guru. This being in eleventh house whilst dispositor is in Guru-sisya yoga ensures knowledge gained in foreign countries due to blessings of Guru. There is kalpadruma, as parivartana gives avastha of own sign and Mangala is in Vrscikaamsa. Neither Ju nor Su aspects Lagna/Moon so observing stars from Moon, Swati shows interest - its lord Rahu forms spiritual yoga (AK in MKS) and reverse argala of Chandra on Rahu adds to spiritual strength of person (Dual signs of Pravraja yoga gives spirituality). If we use Meena Arudha then this raja yoga (ninth lord yuti forth lord) is full active.

In this chart Kalika yoga is in tenth bhava. Here ishta deva (Me/Ve) provides full rejection of raja guna (Me/Ve in 3 from AL), so the rajayoga is manifested in spiritual organization through position of leader (4 from AL is involed - refer to article “Spiritual Raja Yogas”). Again Rahu is AK in ninth but with Jupiter giving Nirrti yoga provides fall of Guru (often Shani in ninth shows the same). This yoga has argala on AK but it also involved lord of Karaka Lagna which adds to spirituality. Moon sits in Martial sign in Drekkana chart (pravraja). Ninth lord in seventh shows removing obstacles through kirtan and spreading knowledge (Me+Ve). This will guarantee Mukti (aspect on Meena in D9).

In this chart Kalika yoga, sits in forth house (dispositor in Pushkara Navamsa, Moon is Vargottam). Its Kumbha sign representing philantrophy and philisophy. This grants strong position in spiritual society with regards to knowledge which is fact. Surya being in Dina Gandanta shows initial problems in career life. Sri Rama sadhana is the remedy to correct Dk placement (results of Gandanta - Jataka Parijata 9.64). Native after some time rejected close association with the spritual group due to Shani being AK rejecting Moon BK which is ninth lord. Ninth lord is with Shani which shows that Guru fall from vows like in previous case. For Vrscika Lagna Kalika yoga again also forms Lakshmi-Vishnu Yoga (kendra+kona). It has argala on tri-kona giving power of creation for spreading of knowledge for community (same degree of BK and MK). Sri Krishna is Guru deva (9 from Karakaamsa occupied by Chandra). 11L in Lagna gives thin body, Jupiter in eight in Bhava chakra gives mystic knowledge, Nipuna Yoga in Bhava Lagna. Budha sits in Abhisekha Nakshatra. Kalika yoga in sixth from Lagnes (or forth after parivartna) is difficult to manifest and can be gained after sorrow. Person is also working with massage which shows Moon in Navamsa Lagna, Shani in fifth in D9 gives duty-bounded and moral person. Sa+Ju gives brahma yoga and attraction to parampara traditional transmission of vidya (AK aspect in D9 can show work - refer Jataka Parijata Sahaja/40).
Moon and Shani can give problems with wealth (Jataka Parijata 8.3+Jataka Tattva Sahaja/55) and in seventh can give widow (Jataka Tatva Saptama/97). Upapada and Arudha lagna must be checked to confirm those suspects of the astrologer.
